This is an exciting opportunity for a colleague to develop their skills in a specialist setting and develop new skills in relation to working with students with SEND and developing our wider school partnerships. The post has been designed to develop opportunities further for our students within the area of adult skills for life .
Required to start as soon as possible at St. Hugh’s School to support employability opportunities within Key Stage 4.
- To work with students to make choices about preferences relating to transition and adulthood
- To support students to access the curriculum and work related learning programmes both in school, off site and virtually
- To develop stakeholder’s perceptions positively supporting our students in our wider communities
- Liaise closely with Partnerships to establish and maintain relationships; breaking down barriers for our young people
- Supporting accreditation pathways e.g. by facilitating and assessing units of work
