Opening hours
The school is usually open: Monday to Friday from 7.00 am to 6.00 pm every day of the year except for public holidays.
The school office and reception is open:
- Monday to Thursday: from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm
- Friday: from 8.00 am to 4.30 pm.
Post 16 Education in groups is provided at Broughton as well at St Hugh's for students: Monday to Friday from 8.45 am to 3.30 pm.

By telephone
Your telephone call is important to us. Telephone calls to the school will connect through the school office in the first instance. If the lines are busy, you will be placed in a queue and your call will be answered as soon as possible.
When the school office is closed, you can leave a message on the our messaging service and your call will be returned when the office re-opens.

Who to contact
Our school receptionists are Mrs C Lonergan and Mrs H Green. They will be pleased to receive your call and to put you in contact with the appropriate member of staff.
For parental enquiries and admissions, please ask to speak to Mrs Millard, the Headteacher.
For day-to-day student issues and attendance matters, please ask to speak to the Team-Based Teacher or to one of the Senior Leadership Team members.

By facsimile
Your facsimile message is important to us. Your fax will be sent through to the school office, where it will be received and acknowledged as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours of receipt.
There may be a delay is acknowledging receipt when the school is closed for the weekend or during the school holidays.
By e-mail
Your e-mail message is important to us. E-mails to the school should be sent to the school's administration e-mail address, as shown above, stating the nature of your enquiry or issue. It will be answered as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours of receipt.
There may be a delay in acknowledging receipt when the school is closed for the weekend or during the school holidays.
When you send your e-mail message to the school, please mark it for the attention of the headteacher, school office or a named member of staff stating your name, contact telephone number and the subject of your message.

Access to the school
St Hugh's is an open access school. The school buildings are all on ground floor level and great care has been taken to make the site accessible for students, staff and visitors to the school.
Disabled and wheelchair users are provided for with open access toilet facilities and easy entrance and exit to the school site.
Please report to the school reception on arrival where you will be met and provided with the necessary assistance if you should require it.
