Catering Arrangements at St Hugh's

Students have a wide range of healthy eating opportunities during the school day at St Hugh's.

Free School Meals during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Crisis

If your child is out of school and would usually receive free school meals, we are pleased to inform you that the Local Authority is providing a doorstep food parcel service every Thursday. A food parcel will be delivered to your home address. If your child is in school, the daily meal service is continuing as normal.

Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club runs every day from 8.50 a.m. to 9.15 a.m.  For 50p per day students can have a bowl of cereal, beans or jam on toast or toast and a drink. On Mondays for 80p they can have a bacon sandwich and a drink. On Thursday for 80p they can have a sausage sandwich and a drink. Payment is collected on a daily basis.

Ther school's Tuck Shop has the following healthy-eating options and price list:

School Lunch

School lunches are prepared and served on-site, following strict healthy-eating guidelines. The menus are varied and nutritious.

School Lunch Costs

For those students who are not entitled to free school meals, a charge of £2.40 per day is made.  Students are given a choice of hot and cold main meal and a dessert.  Payment can be made in advance at the beginning of each half-term or, by sending in £12.00 at the beginning of each week.
