St Hugh's School has received planning permission for a purpose built sports barn to provide us with an extra area for PE as well as another place for us all to continue facilitating the wonderful learning that already goes on in school!
However...to get this built it will cost in the region of £150,000. Therefore three members of staff have decided to try and raise funds by carrying a ladder from Scunthorpe to Lincoln Catherdral and back within 24 hours. It will be a total distance of 60 miles and would be enough to set a world record. We will set off the day before the Summer Fayre and return during the Summer Fayre.
I hear you ask...why a ladder? Well...we all provide steps to success for our young people everyday so why not carry a ladder to represent these steps to success?
If you wish to support this challenge, or know of anyone else who would be keen to support this challenge, a donation would be greatly appreciated. It can be done on our Just Giving page using the link below.
