Our whole school Road Safety Event was a big success at the end of last half term and it was lovely to see some of our parents joining in with the activities. The ‘Scunny Bunny’ was on hand to help the KS3 students learn about road safety. Big thanks to the Local Authority for supporting our day with resources and a local crossing patrol officer who ensured there were plenty of fun and interactive activities.
KS4/5 enjoyed an interactive assembly about keeping safe when out and about. We all had fun designing bright clothing to promote the “Be bright, be seen” slogan in support of the Child Brain Injury Trust. There was a team base competition for the best design - KS3 Team winners were KS3DS and KS4/5 winners were 10LF! Click here to see some photos from the day.
There will be another event in the Spring term where we hope to see even more parents joining in with learning activities in school – look out for more information nearer the time.
