Our diversity day this term looked at the Jewish celebration of Passover.
We found out that Passover is celebrated to remember the time when God helped Moses to get Pharaoh to let the Hebrew slaves go free. Students found out that God sent ten nasty plagues to Pharaoh and his people and teams enjoyed making a mobile of each of the 10 plagues for a display in the sensory corridor. I wonder if you were Pharaoh, which plague would make you agree to set the Hebrew slaves free?
Some students learned about a special meal eaten by the Jewish people today and tried some of the things from the Seder plate.
