Year 7 and 8 teams visited St. Cuthbert's Church in Fishlake as part of the Saints and Heroes module for religious education.
We had learnt about Saint Cuthbert during our RE lessons and were keen to visit a church that was named after him. Pupils enjoyed taking part in a treasure hunt around the church and the graveyard. They noticed that the poppies were still on display from remembrance and paid their respects at the war memorial in the yard.
We enjoyed a packed lunch in the church and also listening to a talk on the history of the building. All in all, much fun was had by all.
