Home-School Agreement
We aim to help students to:
- Learn things which will be useful for leaving school
- Be understood by friends, by staff and by parents
- Have time to be themselves and time to express their feelings
- Be able to tell the truth
- Be physically and mentally healthy
- Fit into society
- Respect and care for others
- Feel safe, secure and important
- Behave properly
- Have fun and enjoy school
We will support students by:
- Looking after them during the school day
- Understanding their difficulties and teaching them how to overcome their challenges
- Teaching what is needed and helping them to achieve their potential
- Giving praise and encouragement
- Explaining to them clearly what is expected
- Preparing them for the future
- Listening to them, even when we are busy
