Even though school may be a very different place at the moment, we have not stopped working on our employability skills!
Students in school have been taking part in employability sessions to develop skills such as washing and valeting cars, cleaning windows and making bird tables and mobile phone holders out of wood.
Staff are making regular contact with students who are staying at home and are hearing lots of fantastic things about the employability skills they have been working on. Students have been doing lots of gardening, baking and cleaning activities with their families and continuing their learning about money and financial capabilities.
Our Summer term magazine will be out soon to showcase the amazing work some of our students have been doing whilst at home. Watch this space!
