As part of their BTEC work, the Key Stage 4 Hospitality group undertook a visit to the Wortley House Hotel in Scunthorpe. Students had a fascinating tour of the establishment and were introduced to the world of hospitality. Careers available in hospitality and the possible pathways into those careers were shared and discussed. Students got a great deal from the visit and it has hopefully shown them what jobs are available in hospitality and made the work they are doing in school more relevant.
